FITS Deprecation Notice
The FITS data base is being deprecated on the 31st March 2025.
The data is being migrated to Tilde and will be available through the API and visualization interfaces.

The Department of Conservation has put in place a 2km exclusion zone from the centre of Te Wai ā-moe/Crater Lake. For information on access to the Mt Ruapehu area, please visit the Department of Conservation’s website on volcanic risk in Tongariro National Park and follow their Facebook page for further updates.
